Vaughn Lowery is vice president and chief marketing officer for Dev-Byrne & Company. He is responsible for linking the innovations of the company’s product team to the customer-focused operations business units to build the Dev-Byrne global brand. In this role, Vaughn oversees management of consumer insights, digital marketing strategy, company positioning, marketing effectiveness, social responsibility, media and employee communications.
Vaughn joined Dev-Byrne in 2018 to take on the newly created chief marketing role. Prior to joining Dev-Byrne, he held marketing positions at Vibe Magazine, Saks Fifth Avenue, and WPI PR & Marketing (NYC). As an international talent, he has extensively worked and lived on four continents: North America, Africa, Asia and Europe. Some of his notable clients include: GAP, Marc Ecko, Old Navy, Skechers, Nordstrom, Dasani Water, Elle Magazine and L’Uomo Vogue. He is also well known for his television appearances on America’s Next Top Model, Scrubs and as the exclusive spokesperson for Joe Boxer. Vaughn holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree from Cornell University’s School of Industrial & Labor Relations. He is the grandson of civil rights leader Rev. Dr. Joseph E. Lowery; and a prominent member of Alpha Phi Alphi Fraternity, Incorporated (Alpha Chapter).
